Poker Ocean offers its players a unique and fun way to earn special cash bonuses, prizes and entry to exclusive tournaments by awarding "Poker Ocean Points." Poker Ocean Points are earned during ring games and tournament play at Poker Ocean.
Poker Ocean Points are determined by the rake taken during a hand. Rake is an amount of money taken by the House as a service fee. This is generated in ring games when a pot reaches a certain amount. Raked hands are hands that generated rake in a ring game. This will occur even if a player folds before the flop. For example, if $0.50 in rake is taken during a hand, all participating players will earn 1 Point. This includes players who contributed to the pot by placing a blind, a bet or even if they folded. If $3 in rake is taken then the players will earn 10 points. A player can earn up to 50% more Poker Ocean Points at Ring games if they are the first to sit at a table.
Tournaments have entry fees, these will generate points. For every $1 paid to enter a Tournament, 17 points will be awarded.
When you are seated at a ring game a small box will be displayed above your nickname with "Points:" referring to Poker Ocean Points. There will be a number next to the "Points:" and this is the amount of points you have earned at that table. The number will change as more points are earned at that ring game table.
Enter "My Account" from the Poker Ocean Poker Lobby to view your accumulated Poker Ocean Points, including the amount of bonuses your Points have generated.
Poker Ocean Poker Points Balance: Total amount of Poker Ocean Points earned.
Pending Bonus Dollars: Reflects the full amount of Bonuses a issued to a player, including Welcome Bonus and/or Reload Bonus.
Bonuses are released automatically once a player earns 600 points. For every 600 points $5 is deposited to the player's Pending Bonus Dollars, which is then converted to real dollars.
When a first deposit is made and the "Welcome Bonus" is issued the amount of the Bonus is put directly into the player's "Pending Bonus Dollars". The Bonus will then be acquired as a player earns Poker Ocean Points.
